Boost your range capacity on the Spicy Curry (V4) with a secondary battery adapter kit


Adapter kit designed to install a second Bosch battery (sold separately) on the Spicy Curry V4 and later models. Mounted next to the bottom bracket, this kit allows you to extend your bike’s range (+400 Wh or +545 Wh) while maintaining excellent stability and handling, thanks to its low‑positioned design that lowers the centre of gravity.

 

Ask your Yuba dealer to follow the official Yuba Tech Notice when installing the kit. The secondary Bosch official battery required to complete the setup is sold separately (see item details below).

 

Batteries compatible with the kit:
  • Bosch PowerPack Frame 400 (BBP3540)
  • Bosch PowerPack Frame 545 (BBP3551
The Dual Battery Kit includes:
  • Mounting kit adapter plate, plug side battery adapter 2 for PowerPack Frame (BBP35YY / item number: EB1290000S)


Additional parts required are available from Bosch.

Fits 400 or 545wh battery only - 800wh is too large.

- Mounting kit adapter plate, plug side battery adapter 2 for PowerPack Frame (BBP35YY / item number: EB1290000S)

- 2 x Battery cable, 700 mm (BCH3910_700 / item number: EB1212002X)

- PowerPack Frame mounting and positioning gauge (BBP35YY / item number: EB1210002R)

We use a premium delivery service to deliver all of our bikes to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. Bicycles from a different warehouse so may arrive separately to any other items ordered. A signature is required to confirm proof of delivery.

All products are sourced from official importers and covered by manufacturers warranty. If you do need to send items back to us please make sure that you retain proof of postage in the event that it is needed.
