With the same impact resistance and tubeless-ready beadlock as the mountain-bike Air Liners, the Air-Liner Gravel brings impact-resistance, puncture protection, and performance-boosting stability to knobby tires on the skinny side. On square impacts, the Air-Liner’s resistance ramps up while it compresses to prevent rim strikes and pinch flats – it’s basically a shock installed in your tire.

In addition to big-hit resistance, the Air-Liner Gravel lets you run a lower PSI, which lets your tires gobble up stutter bumps that would otherwise filter up through the bike. You’ll still feel a connection through the contact patch, there’ll just be less static from gravel chatter – and less accumulated rider fatigue from that chatter filtering up through the seatpost and bar. The Air-Liner Gravel’s profile reinforces the sidewall for stability while cornering, and it locks the tire against the rim bead. It also lets the tread ride on air, maintaining contact-patch conformity for responsive traction while climbing and braking. No folding, no burping, no sluggishness, and no flats.

A high-density polymer structure gives the Air-Liner Gravel all the qualities of a good shock: it mutes chatter and ramps up under big impacts, increasing ride comfort and preventing rim strikes. It also acts as a run-flat for up to an hour if you do puncture, and it has an install life of 2,000 hours. The Air-Liner Gravel is compatible with ammonia-free sealant, multiway tubeless valves, tubeless tires up to 700c, and rim beds up to 25mm. Its waterproof coating prevents the absorption of sealant. Each Air-Liner Gravel insert includes a 60mm Vittoria Green Multiway Tubeless Valve.
