This IceToolz crank puller for dismounting the crank arm is made of Cr-Mo steel. The crank puller is equipped with an 8mm Allen key and a combined 14mm-15mm socket wrench. The crank extractor plus cap is therefore also suitable for the hollow shaft. The IceToolz article number of this crank remover is 04D2.

This crank puller is a handy compact tool to remove the crank from the bottom bracket. On some bicycles, the crank is secured with an Allen .bolt. On others, the 14mm (or 15mm) nut is hidden behind a decorative cap. For all cases, the right tool is available with this IceToolz puller. The crank puller itself is equipped with an extra (orange) cap for when a hollow shaft is used.
Cr-Mo stands for chromium-molybdenum
Cr-Mo is the abbreviation of chromium molybdenum steel. A type of steel that is widely used in tool making because Cr-Mo has the properties that make the crank puller impact resistant and rigid. Would be a shame if the force applied to the crank puller is lost in bending the material. Cr-Mo is also widely used in cars, racing cars and motorcycles where the demands on the material are high.
